Disney's up and coming animated movie named Wreak it Ralph looks...well...I'm a game nerd so it looks awesome!
And it's ALL ABOUT GAMES!

It's the story of how a guy stuck playing the bad guy in a video game gets tired of being the bad guy and decides to look for a new game where he can be a hero for once.
There is just one thing that gets me....
Just how the FUCK did Disney get the rights to use video game characters like Dr Robotnik, Bison, The ghosts from Pacman, Bowser and that Russian dude from Street Fighter!?
I'm not kidding, look at the trailer

Ive also got to admit, the film looks good/great, too.
Prime example: There's a pretty infamous story in the retail industry involving the original 'Toy Story'---Mattel Toys wouldn't let Disney or Pixar (both companies, since they were still technically separate back then, had tried to get the rights) use the Barbie doll in the first one (indeed, they had barely any 'Toy Story' toys available when first released, despite it being the holiday season---it wasn't supposed to be a hit), so Pixar came up with Bo Peep instead. After 'Toy Story' became the hit it was---and after every Buzz Lightyear and Woody doll (produced by Thinkway Toys, not Mattel) sold out within two weeks of the movie's opening---Mattel was kicking themselves because they weren't in on the action (Hasbro was upset, too, but then again they had objected to 'G.I. Joe' getting blown up, so Pixar came up with 'Combat Carl' instead). Hence why Barbie is in the 2nd and 3rd 'Toy Story' movies.
but lets hope for some good guy counter-parts!
this will be the best movie of the year, no matter how much it suscks!
screw age, Im seeing this anyway! GAMERS HAVEN!
But I do wonder how Disney was allowed to use game villians? Must of paid a large some to the companies which own them or something.
lol! Hey! Imagine if that were any of the Megatron's (G1, Animated, Prime Megatrons) hahahaha !
I think this would be a fun movie for my parents - surely they've had their share of classic arcade games and might recognize a few of the older ones. I'll show 'em the vid today, see what they think. Thanks for reminding me, V.
